Thailand´s driver beats Palou (Campos Racing) to pole position for race one. Stern (Team West-Tec) and Janosz (RP Motorsport) qualified third and fourth on the starting grid
Sandy Stuvik, who is currently leading the Euroformula Open at this moment, has claimed pole position for today´s race at Spa-Francorchamps. Stuvik, driving the Dallara F312 fielded by RP Motorsport, has stormed to pole position setting an impressive new record at the track: 2:15.001. Stuvik has outpaced Alex Palou (Campos Racing), as the Spaniard finished more than seven tenths behind. Anyway Palou still has managed to keep Yarin Stern (Team West-Tec) and Artur Janosz (RP Motorsport) at bay. Israel´s racer has finished 3rd beating Janosz by a very small margin.
Yu Kanamaru (Emilio de Villota Motorsport) qualified 5th, ahead of Andrés Saravia (RP Motorsport), 6th fastest. Alex Toril was 7th for Emilio de Villota Motorsport and Konstantin Tereschenko (Campos Racing) 8th on the starting grid. Top-ten was rounded off by John Simonyan (RP Motorsport) and Wei Fung Thong (Team West-Tec).
