Artur Janosz (RP Motorsport) has put his Dallara F312 on top of the timesheets after two free practice sessions held at Spa-Francorchamps. Poland´s driver, currently lying third in the drivers´ standings, posted a lap time of 2:16.371in FP1, early in the morning. His time was unbeatable for the rest of the field in FP2 and despite his teammate Sandy Stuvik´s performance in the second free practice session – also lapping under 2:17 barrier-, the European driver finished first. Stuvik, with a time of 2:16.961 finished almost six tenths off.
Behind Yarin Stern (Team West-Tec) was third, spearheading drivers lapping in 2:17, with debutant Leonardo Pulcini (DAV Racing) fourth overall. Che-One Lim (Emilio de Villota Motorsport) was 5th fastest today, with Guatemala´s Andrés Saravia (RP Motorsport) 6th-placed. Alex Palou (Campos Racing), one of the title contenders, has finished 7th with Nici Pöhler (Team West-Tec), Alex Toril (Emilio de Villota Motorsport) – making his comeback in Belgium- and Konstantin Teresckenko (Campos Racing) rounding off the top-ten.
