The Spanish driver of Campos Racing has stormed to pole position for race one, beating Stuvik (RP Motorsport), with Thailand´s time only ninety-six thousandths off the pole-position
Thrilling wet qualifying session today at Silverstone, with Alex Palou (Campos Racing) finally taking the pole position for today´s race. Palou and Sandy Stuvik (RP Motorsport)engaged in an epic battle finally won by the Barcelona-born driver. In spite of the session saw Stuvik on top at the beginning, finally Palou snatched the pole position with a lap time of 2:11.000, 96 thousandths quicker than Stuvik.
Yarin Stern (Team West-Tec), who was fastest man on track yesterday during the free practice sessions, has qualified third ahead of Konstantin Tereschenko (Campos Racing). Yu Kanamaru (Emilio de Villota Motorsport) will start on third row alongside Sean Walkinshaw (Campos Racing). Series leader Artur Janosz (RP Motorsport) couldn´t improve 8th on the grid, behind Germany´s Nici Pohler (Team West-Tec).
