The Israeli driver finished on top during today´s free practice sessions at Silverstone- His teammate Sathienthirakul finished second, with Palou (Campos Racing) third. Euroformula Open series leader, Janosz, was 8th
The Euroformula Open has carried out today its three free practice sessions and, at its home event, Team West-Tec placed two of its drivers on top. Today started in rainy conditions but improved hour by hour. Finally Yarin Stern posted the fastest time with a lap of 1:55.733, set in the third free practice session. Thailand´s Tanart Sathienthirakul, with a second Dallara F312 of Team West-Tec, was second in the timesheets and this looks like a very promising weekend for the Asian driver as yesterday finished first in the private test sessions.
Alex Palou (Campos Racing) ranked third, and was able to beat his main title contenders, because Sandy Stuvik and Artur Janosz, the pair of RP Motorsport, were seventh and eighth. The Polish went off track yesterday. Che-One Lim and Yu Kanamaru were fourth and fifth for Emilio de Villota Motorsport, a positive first outing for them on the British track. Wei Fung Thong (Team West-Tec) classified 6th, with Henrique Baptista (DAV Racing) and Andrés Saravia (RP Motorsport) rounding off the top-ten.
