Stuvik finished first ahead of his teammates Janosz and Simonyan. Kanamaru (Emilio de Villota Motorsport) and Yarin Stern (Team West-Tec) rounded off the top-5.
The Euroformula Open has celebrated three free practice sessions today at Hungaroring and RP Motorsport drivers finished on top, with Sandy Stuvik ahead of his teammates Artur Janosz and John Simonyan. The Thai, after taking the lead in Jerez, has spearheaded the effort of RP Motorsport posting a lap time of 1:39.170 in FP1. Janosz was his closest rival almost two tenths slower and Simonyan, each and every day improving at the wheel of the car, was 87 thousandths behind the Polish driver.
Yu Kanamaru (Emilio de Villota Motorsport) was 4th in the timesheets and showed a good pace all throughout the day. Yarin Stern (Team West-Tec), after his good weekend at the Circuito de Jerez, continued his good form finishing 5th. Andrés Saravia (RP Motorsport) was 6th beating Nici Pohler (Team West-Tec), meanwhile Alex Palou (Campos Racing) ended 8th. Tanart Sathienthirakul (Team West-Tec) and Christopher Höher (BVM) rounded off the top-ten, with the Austrian racer making his official debut at the Italian squad.
