Cameron Twynham is the first driver to be announced by Team West-Tec F3 for its 2013 European Formula 3 Open line up, after a successful debut in racing this year
Cameron Twynham has become to be the first driver confirmed at Team West-Tec for 2013. The 16 year old competed in the 2012 Intersteps Championship and the BARC Formula Renault Winter Series, notching up an impressive run of seven podiums and twenty-four top ten finishes.
Cameron will drive a Copa Class F308 Dallara for the Corby-based team, as what is likely to be part of a three car attack on the Copa, alongside a similar number of the latest-generation F312 cars.
John Miller, Team West-Tec F3: “We tested Cameron recently and he was extremely smooth and very suited to the modern F3 car. We are really excited to add to him to the team and I am sure we will have a successful campaign once again in 2013”.
Cameron Twynham: “I am extremely excited about racing in the Euro F3 Open Championship next year. It is going to be a whole new challenge for me that I will be making the most of and bringing home the best results possible. I cannot wait to get out on track this coming season and I am very grateful to be able to have this opportunity with Team West-Tec, to experience the European tracks, which for the first time on their calendar will also include Silverstone”.
